Nestled amid 500 acres of parkland and lakes is Orchardleigh Estate, a family-owned country estate in the heart of Somerset. Orchardleigh boasts a beautiful 19th-century stately home, romantic island church, 18- hole golf course and plenty of luxurious accommodation.

Couples can enjoy Orchardleigh House and grounds exclusively for the duration of their day complete with plenty of stunning backdrops for photographs. Wedding packages are tailored to the individual and, if desired, couples can indulge in a three-day wedding experience at the estate meaning there's no need to rush off after the wedding night.

Orchardleigh offers two main packages – The House Wedding Experience for up to 144 guests and The Estate Wedding Experience for up to 250 guests, with 165 able to stay overnight. For those that opt for the Gold Estate Wedding Experience they'll enjoy exclusive use of the estate, Orchardleigh House, The Italian Garden, The Walled Garden and The Orangery.

Ceremonies can be held in a number of estate locations, including rooms at the main house; The Ballroom (up to 100 guests), The Great Hall (up to 130 guests), The Belvedere (up to 144 guests), or in the magnificent Orchardleigh House Gardens looking over the lake (up to 150 guests). At the Elmhay Park setting within the estate you can opt to hold the ceremony in The Italian Garden, The Fountain or The Bandstand, all within the walled garden setting.

Alternatively, the estate's island church is a romantic place to exchange vows. St Mary's Church is situated on an island at the heart of the estate and with no electricity is lit by candlelight and music is heard on a hand pumped organ.

The terrace and multiple garden settings offer a breathtaking spot for reception drinks and offer sweeping views across the estate. What's more, because Orchardleigh is a private house, residents and guests can celebrate until dawn.
